NBDRA IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE its Fifth RECREATIONAL EVENT OF 2023.

Welcome to NBDRA's fifth recreational ride going to the Fredericton area where the riders will be treated to the best ride of this area yet. This year Peter, Eric & Justin, our very own NBDRA members, have carefully planned this event to offer a ride that will be sure to create some amazing memories. This ride is oriented for novice and above riders.  Bypass routes have been established for the more challenging areas but if you want to learn and grow your skills, we will be there to help you if you want to try some of the challenges.  This ride will take you through roughly 150kms of beautiful roads and trails with lots of sight seeing areas.

Come join us on September 9th for a guided Dual-Sport ride.  All riders are required to have the proper registration & insurance to be able to ride on the road. The group will meet at the Keswick Valley Memorial School located at 20 Route 617, 20 NB-617, Burtts Corner, NB E6L 2X3 @ 9:30am. Kickstand goes up at 10:00am. The day will be filled with great opportunities to enjoy your favourite sport and help build confidence in your riding.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The ride is approximately 150kms of mixed riding. There is a minimal amount of pavement that will be used to connect from trail to trail. You must plan to be able to ride the full ride without any options for gas. (If your motorcycle does not have the appropriate fuel capacity, please make sure to bring additional gas.)

Please expect an average difficulty level that will offer a varied terrain from dirt roads, trails, rocky at times and slippery in certain areas if wet.  For the most difficult sections, there will be options for an easier path.  Those more challenging sections will include some shallow water crossings, river crossing, steeper incline and some slippery conditions.  If required, coaching & assistance will be provided. (Those are the ideal moments to improve your skills while not straying to far away from your comfort zone.)

We will ensure that all participants are well guided and will wait at all forks/intersections to ensure the group stays together.

Please note that this ride is better suited for dual-sport motorcycles. It is possible for adventure bikes but would require a high level of comfort.
